Job Description

A Fettling Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the fettling process in manufacturing operations, particularly in foundries or metalworking industries. Fettling is the process of finishing or cleaning metal castings by removing excess material such as burrs, flash, or rough edges, and ensuring that the casting meets the required specifications for shape, size, and surface quality. The Fettling Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring that fettling operations are carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Roles and Responsibilities of a Fettling Supervisor:
1. Supervision and Team Management
Oversee Fettling Team: Supervise and coordinate the fettling team, ensuring that tasks are performed efficiently and to the required quality standards.
Assign Tasks: Assign specific fettling tasks to workers based on skill levels, ensuring the optimal use of resources and personnel.
Monitor Worker Performance: Evaluate and monitor the performance of fettling workers, providing guidance and support as needed.

2. Process Control and Quality Assurance
